I assume you have a GED. And the Marines will accept a certain number of people with GEDs. Perhaps they’ve already exceeded that number.
Recruiters get paid to enlist people. I don’t believe your recruiter has any incentive to lie to you about this.
Yes if its nationally or regionally accredited, im enlisted and im finishing high school through penn foster high school right now. And whoever said GED, dont, thats what i was aiming for before and my recruitment officer told me i couldn’t. The marines accept almost nobody with GEDs and when they do you have to score huge on the ASVAB and dont get as good of an MOS. So as long as your schools accredited and you have a diploma you should be fine.
Do you have a diploma from a accredited institution? If you don’t then you need a GED.
**True enough to Phillip. Every service has its quota and limits and whatnot, right now the Army is a bit more forgiving than everyone else. **
Should count.. I know the family of a Marine who was home schooled and he became a S/S..
As long as you have a high school diploma.
Yes. Do you have high school diploma?
damn, that would suck. just get a GED. good luck bro
oh yeah the marines will
take anybody
well not anybody. no disrespect to any marines

Only if it’s from an accredited school. If you don’t want to worry about whether it will or not just do a semester at a community college. If you get 15 credits you can join the Marines *and* they will give you an advanced rank to E-2
