You can get the legal forms, instructions, and everything you need to file for divorce on your own, without an attorney, at – http://www.legalformsbank.biz/unconteste… – and you can learn more about the procedure there.
On line divorces basically are forms you fill out and file in your county court yourself. They are for very simple divorces, without issues, not ones like you will have.
Your divorce will involve a claim for part of your husbands military benefits, retirement if he stays in the military, medical care for you and your child, an allottement from your husbands military salary for your child, and other issues that will involve dealing with the military.
Remember, he is in the military, not you or your child, the military will support him and assist him. You will have to fight to get what is rightfully yours and your childs.
Go to legal aid. They handle family law on a pro gratis basis.
If your county does not have a legal aid dept. contact the law dept. of the college you are attending. Often graduate students and professors provide legal help for students.
Finally contact the agencies in your county that help abused and battered women. They will have the names of many attorneys that will assist you for minimal fees or pro gratis.
Well Christy, your husband is out defending you and me while you are living in a poor me world. Yes you can get an online Divorce but this seems way too sneaky. Is this true that while he is gone away, you want to take his daughter and hook up with another man? I can’t see how you and your daughter can make it while you are in school. Good luck with your life, you need it.
Listen be really careful when it comes down to ordering things from the internet. Some sites are not legal and scam people for thousands of dollars. if you do come across a website to get a divorce check their business status at http://www.bbb.org (Better Businees Bureau). Type in their information and see if they are scammers or not. Good Luck!
can’t you just seprate untill you have enough money? that doesn’t cost anything. You don’t have to get a divorce until you are ready to marry someone else. just live like you were divorced.
You can call the NC Bar Association and ask them for the list of volunteer attorneys and start from there.
